Another landmark is the Stephens House & Gardens, a Grade II listed house which was gifted to the area by Henry “Inky” Stephens of the Stephens Ink Company. This site includes a museum and extensive landscaped gardens with a unique arboretum and a statue of Spike Milligan. Houses in the area include 1930s properties, Edwardian homes and former council houses, in addition to cottages with Gothic features in the Gravel Hill area.
